Prior to boarding, all passengers will be subject to:-
Full body pat-downs, concentrating on upper legs and torso.
100% physical inspection of all passenger accessible property, with focus on syringes being transported along with powders and/or liquids.
Strict adherence to restrictions on liquids, aerosols and gels.
Passengers who have been screened will not be allowed to mingle with passengers who have not been subjected to the same screening requirements.
Onboard passengers will have to remain in their assigned seats.
These regulations will apply to all airlines and have been introduced with effect from 26 Dec 2009 in the interest of passenger’s safety.
